Job Description:
- Detail-oriented and organized Legal Documentation Executive to support the legal team in
- Handling documentation, contract management, and compliance-related work.
- Coordinating with internal departments, external legal counsel, and regulatory bodies to ensure timely execution and maintenance of all legal documents, particularly those relevant to operations in the QSR industry.
- Draft, review, and manage legal documents such as franchise agreements, vendor contracts, lease agreements, NDAs, and licensing documents.
- Maintain an organized repository of contracts and legal files (physical and digital).
- Ensure legal documents are accurate, up-to-date, and comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with operations, procurement, and HR teams to facilitate legal document execution.
- Track contract timelines, renewals, and expiry dates to ensure proactive follow-up and renewal.
- Liaise with external counsel and government bodies for approvals, filings, and registrations.
- Assist in legal audits, compliance checks, and regulatory filings (FSSAI, labor laws, environmental, etc.).
- Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and ensure company policies are updated accordingly.
- Support dispute resolution processes by compiling necessary documentation.
- Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field (LLB preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in legal documentation, preferably in the retail/QSR/FMCG sector.
- Strong understanding of contract law, commercial agreements, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and legal documentation software/tools.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadline
